Title: Underdarkness
Description: An early experiment of mine. Using images of
sea sponges, and creating spheres from scratch, I managed to
make this little art piece. While somewhat dark and aluring,
it felt like something was unfinished...
Title: Artificial Ice
Description: With multiple pictures of ice used as
reference, I tried to mimic the look of ice in this highly
experimental piece. While not a 100% capture, the stylized
differences mixed with somewhat accuracy gave it a very.
interesting look. Painted with a tablet.
Title: Lava
Description: When at a loss for a camera for the
creation of a self portrait, I decided to substitute with
a scanner. The face ended up looking oddly stretched, I
feared it wouldn't be usable... until I experimented with
it to create this. I think it has an interesting look.
Title: Waves of Cloth
Description: Water can take on many forms, much like that
of cloth. With this in mind, I tried to collage multiple pieces
of cloth together to create water. An experiment that beared
rather interesting results.
Title: Underdark Morning
Description: Expanding from the piece Underdark, I changed
the feel of the piece entirely with some exclusion. I'd say
it's a vast improvement from the other one, but I've heard
both are likable for different reasons.
