You decide that the best course of action is to tell the truth. After all, it's not like you're doing anything wrong!

"I was going to visit a cabin on the other side of these woods with some friends of mine when my b-bike ran out of gas," you say as confidently as you can manage. "It's our break from s-school... we were just going to watch m-movies and drink and s-stuff, honest!"

The wolf brings his humongous head closer to your own, examining you, before breaking its gaze and circling around you, as though trying to find something hidden on your person.

"hmm, yes, it is true that there is a cabin on the other side of my forest. However..." it says, pulling away from you and crouching down. "it is used as a hunting lodge, and i cannot tolerate such activity in my territory."

You feel a sudden rush of fear-induced adrenaline as you realize that the wolf is about to attack you. You deduce that you have but a split second to decide what to do. You noticed a large branch within your reach a moment ago, but the path behind you looks awfully inviting as well.

You gather your wits and your courage, and make your decision.
