DUE Tues 13: Completed Bake-A-Cake.psd file saved on class homework folder. Finished drawings for Project 1 turned in person. Bring in 5 high resolution images to use in Project 1 on a flash drive.

Thurs 15 - DEMOs:

DUE Thurs 15: All critique suggestions should be adjusted. Revised Bake-A-Cake.psd file should replace the previous version on class server for grading.

Thurs 3 - Levels adjustments on Project 2

DUE Tues 8: Project 2 must be completed and uploaded to the class server in a flattened jpg format. We will critique these in class and discuss the execution of your concept. You will be required to make adjustments to this image. Also upload your artist statement for this project.

Tues 8 - Critique of Project 2. Review concept ideas. Demo on how to prepare borders for print lab. Continue Levels adjustments.

Thurs 10 - (SECAC) NO CLASS

DUE Tues 15: Have a full size 42 inch print brought into class. Upload a one paragraph summary of your artist concept to the class server under the project 2 folder. We will discuss alterations and read your artist statements, then hang these in the hallway.

Tues 15 - Critique of prints for Project 2. Intro to Project 3.

Thurs 17 - Clone to extend imagery.

Tues 22 - Blending paint techniques

Thurs 24 - (Thanksgiving break) NO CLASS

DUE Tues 29: Upload to class server progress pictures of your Project 3 work.

Tues 29 - Brushes and mixing paint (the "cheap" way to copy a photograph). Discuss one-on-one Project 3 concepts.

DUE Thurs 1: Bring in a large resolution image jpg of a Waterhouse painting.

Thurs 1 - Mixing paint ("cheap" painting) and project overview

DUE Tues 6: Upload a finished JPG file of the Masters painting you have done. We will critique in class.

Tues 6- Critique masters and remaining time is Project 3 workday.

Thurs 8 - Final Critique for Project 3
