Lecture: The Basic, concept of 3D workspace and modeling
In class exercise: Working with primitive objects

Assignment: Project One, "Geometric Form" Combine primitives to construct creative models in the scene that are influenced by natural organic forms.

You will create 3 different designs of Optical Art and PRINT OUT ONE IMAGE OF EACH DESIGN(12"X12")

Step One – Research: Everything starts with the inspiration! All DUE Sep 1 (Post them on your Blog)

  1. Find 10 artworks which show the abstract design, visual analogy design, or nature symbolic design from natural organic forms either online or BGSU library (names of artists and artworks) The artworks can be drawings, paintings, sculptures, or architectures. (All image must not smaller that 400 pixels both width and height)
  2. Find high quality images online or take your own photograph at least 10 photographs of natural organic forms (anything, but must be from nature)
