6 to 8 Images and contact sheet Due in class folder April 22nd
All images as Prints Due April 22nd
NOTE: Final critiques will be on April 22nd and 24th

Create and print 6 to 8 images (or more) that read as a body of work.

To further understand and create a number of images that form a body of work.
To continue to develop your artistic voice in digital photography.

In this assignment you will use the camera of your choice and any level of digital manipulation (none to over the top) to create images that form a body of work. By this I mean that the works read in content and aesthetics as if they belong together and each image strengthens an underlying idea.

You have a few choices for content:

1) Create works that are a continuation of a successful body of work from a prior assignment.
2) Start a new idea that you wish to expand on.

Hopefully, the work you do for this final will give you fodder to continue your artistic investigation.

You will create a contact sheet from the images that you shot for this assignment and save it in your class folder (Final), along with your 6 to 8 images. Images should be 5MB or smaller.

Make this a cohesive body of work of six to eight images that go together in some way.

You are required to print all of the works. We will critique from the prints.

All prints should be matted and one should be framed. We will go over presentation details in class.

Submission Requirements

Create a folder with your last name on it in the Assignment 4 folder:
Classes->ARTC400_2->Final-> Your Name

Put your contact sheet in this folder.

Put all six to eight images in this folder.
Images should be 5MB or smaller (turn-in version only) and be tiff or jpeg.

Bring prints to class on April 22nd. We will critque from these works.

You will be graded on your ability to complete all parts of the assignment.

You will be graded on concept, formal qualities (composition, color, etc.), and technical mastery.

This assignment will have a weight of 3.
