 Traveling shows popular using the Magic lantern

 Dutchman Pieter Van Musschenbroek developed the revolving disk with sequential images on it. It created the illusion of motion. First Animated Entertainment

 Fantasmagorie, a traveling show using the Magic lantern opens in France.

 Shadow Puppets become popular in the west. They were very popular in the Tang Dynasty in China between 618-907 C.E.
