This chapter contains two tutorials for creating a Web page: the first uses only Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and the second uses HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
The first tutorial takes you through the steps of creating a Web page that has the basic elements of page formatting, images, links, tables, and lists. It describes each HTML tag used to create the page along with the HomeSite options and commands for completing the tag. You can complete the tutorial in about half an hour.
The second tutorial shows you how to create the same page design using CSS. It also takes about half an hour to complete. This tutorial is written for the Internet Explorer Web browser, version 4.0 or later.
These tutorials contain sample HTML code. However, these code samples may differ slightly from your code depending on your settings. To examine your current settings, select Options > Settings from the menu (or press F8). Note the settings for Markup Languages, HTML/XHTML, and Editor.
