Welcome to the Digital Arts Department at Bowling Green State University. Our students study topics ranging from digital imaging to 3D modeling to animation and video. This site is designed as a resource for our students, but the pages here are open to anyone. So, feel free to poke around.   • During spring 2009 Bonnie Mitchell and Elainie Lillios' animation, 2B Textures, will be shown at the Visual Music Martahon in New York City, the SEAMUS conference in Indiana, the Faculty Composers Forum concert at Bowling Green and the Fast, Faster, Fast show in Boston.

  • The Computer Art Club will be bringing in Aaron Halifax, a BGSU Alumni to do a lecture and workshop February 19 and 20th. Aaron worked at Blue Sky Studios as an animator and now is at Valve Software as a cinematics artist.

  • Shaun Gentry, a BGSU Digital Arts and Art Education alumni, conducted a workshop on creative character modeling using clay on Feb 7 and 14th.

  • The Computer Art Club is sponsoring Character Design Sessions with Nick Catalano that are available for everybody. Bring paper and pencil and learn how to design creative and unique characters. Sessions will be held March 20, March 27, April 3. Stay tuned for more information.
